Master Key Experience, Week 15; New Year? BIGGER ME.

Break the rules. Be a fighter. Any dream is possible if you are brave enough to do it YOUR way.” – AJ Lee

As I have discussed in last week’s post, You are the Master Key.

My heart, fueled with a fiery passion and the cogs in my mechanical mind cranking their way into overdrive, I went on a social media rant for the “New Year”.

“Well, 2017 was quite a year. It was a time for Growth, Self-Discovery, and Tribulation.

A few critical points to share.
1. Follow your Heart, but Bring Your Brain Along With You.
2. Be True To Yourself.
3. Push through the Doubt, Fear, and Bullshit Others Tell You.
4. Seek The Kingdom Within YOU first, and all else will fall into place.

If there’s anything I’ve witnessed over this year, it’s the sad reality that people pretend everything is fine when they are suffering inside. I have been guilty of this too. (Insert stress about time for loved ones, money well spent, fitting into society’s expectations, blah blah blah). Yes, it sucks, but when we pretend that we don’t have issues, we don’t grow, and we don’t move forward into the life that we truly crave and deserve.

There are two types of people in our world. Those that keep things in life the same, and those that take baby steps now so they can seize the future they desire for themselves. Let’s face it, we aren’t getting any younger.

If you don’t know why you are doing something, then why do it? (myself included).

Don’t let others tear you down. It’s sad that they don’t see how wonderful you truly are.
You care about something, someone, and you’re acting out of good intention? Why let someone else decide for you if it’s worth it or not? Believe in Yourself.

You are Golden. You are Worth It. Your Wildest Hopes and Dreams are To Die For. Don’t fall victim to the sheep mentality of mediocrity. You were created in the likeness of The Creator…

You are responsible for what happens in your life. You hold the Power. Accept it, appreciate it. Move Forward with the Divine Energy inside of You that is so Desperate to Express itself.”

Needless to say, I was ON FIRE. I received national acclaim, won a Grammy, spoke on stage, blah blah blah.

Just kidding.

I haven’t been straight forward with people, and I haven’t been listening to my heart.

My greatest joy doesn’t come from making business calls to get people in my organization. Musical, comical, theatrical hi-jinks are the activities that fuel me with the Heat of the Sun. I’m shooting off to another planet.

“Well Eric, how are you going to make it to the big shows? You can’t just become a star overnight can you? Good luck with your head up in the clouds…” -Says the Sheep of Society XD

The Lion Within Me Roars, “I must break the rules, I must hunt after my heart’s desire with the wisdom I’ve been given through all my years leading the Pride.”

I suppose James Earl Jones and I have a lot in common. We have Lions for Spirit Animals, he was Mufasa from the Lion King, remember? And we have voices deeper than the bottom of the ocean floor. Well, that’s what most people tell me. Someone the other day said I sound like I’m 45.

FORTY-FIVE YEARS OLD. How old am I folks? 40? No. 30? Guess again.

I’m not even 20. Good LORD. At 19, I’ve been reminded of something special I have been blessed with. My voice. The voice of GOD. XD

The voice of Mufasa was One with the Circle of Life, and the same voice for Darth Vader was One with the Force. I am One with Almighty Being and Manifestation. Sounds like I’m winning on multiple LEVELS.

Did I just level up? Ka-ching.

Anywho… Back to the voice. Voice acting, impressions. Ever since I was a kid (Am I still a kid? Lol.), I would imitate the likes of Jim Carrey, Patrick Warburton, Barack Hussein Obama, and Andy Serkis (think Lord of the Rings here… too easy).

I am an artist. I manipulate Time and Space around me to create beauty. What kind of beauty? Well, how about the sounds that cause people to fall in love with their neighbor, laugh with someone across the room over a hearty meal, and live in the moment with the release of tension to truly enjoy what is happening in front of them, Now.

How do I manifest this into Network Marketing? Everyone has been doing it since we were four years old.

Unconventional meetings? I enjoy a night of bowling with my team, say one night I have 10 people enjoying a game with me, then after a matter of weeks, we buy out the whole bowling alley!

WOW. “Never thought of that before…”

Am I bossing people around telling them how to sell “Revolutionary, patented, breakthrough products?”

Ut-oh. Am I telling them they have to make dials? O_O

This is tricky. Let’s view the Big Picture here.

19 year old…. Has never been a salesman in his life. People know and perceive me as this happy-go-lucky, on top of the world, fun-loving gentleman that cares about what people want.

All of a sudden, I say, honestly, with integrity, “Hey person I haven’t talked to in a few months or a few years, it’s Eric. This is a business call, do you have two minutes for me?”

Why would people say yes? So I no longer have to waste their time after they’ve heard my pitch? Good grief.

As AJ Lee said, I have to break the rules. Why not throw a karaoke party and go out for dinner with ten people? Then, as I am saying goodbye to everyone at the restaurant, ask people if they have ever thought about retiring early, what work will look like for the next 40 years, etc.

WHADDACHANGE! Simply tell them I discovered a home-based biz that doesn’t require us to be pushy salespeople, we don’t have to cold call anybody and we can build our business in one hour a day. If they’re interested, most people will be, it took me less than a minute to tell them what the business was about, and to qualify them as someone that has a desire for a better life. Do you know that 95 out of 100 people don’t like selling?

What am I doing? Having fun? Am I calling people and lying like some leaders in the industry with the One-Minute Meeting Call?

What’s that? It looks like this, I’m not in the mood for name-calling, but this baloney has to stop…

Sue- “Hi Joe, its Sue calling, how is it going? Hey are you busy tonight at 7?”
Joe- “No, why?”
Sue-”I have something I need to show you.
Joe-”What is it?”
Sue- “I’ll show you when I get there” (get off the phone and go see Joe)

Good grief. Here’s another one that ticks me off to a tee.

Starting a phone call this way, “I don’t have a lot of time to talk, but it was really important I reach you.” “I have a million things going on, but I’m glad I caught you.”

Makes me want to throw up ten times over.

If I’m not a salesman, and I don’t want to be a self-conceited, arrogant shit-mouthed liar, hehe that’s a new one, how the HELL am I going to talk to people?

Here’s the good news. Coffee? This isn’t “business coffee”. You actually care about these people don’t you Eric?

Bringing the business up at the END of a social talk is a wonderful approach. Here’s why. It. is. the. last. thing. on. your. mind.

You are leaving the other person, if they have questions, they’ll have to ASK YOU after they’ve already expressed interest and want to learn more.

You caught up with someone that cares about you and knows you intimately, not as a salesperson, or middleman. Ugh, the times I’ve heard that one. Never again!

You VALUE them for being transparent and they share what is going on in their Life!

How do people normally talk? Sales pitches? I don’t think so.

Stories? Ka-Ching.

I downgrade the BUSINESS. It is a nice aspect of my Life, but it doesn’t BECOME MY LIFE.

See the problem?

Have fun with people you care about, simply ask as you say goodbye if they thought about having a better life, share the truth that most people don’t have much time to do what they want after taking care of normal tasks, work, driving…

Sounds miserable doesn’t it? Just teasing… There are people that prefer that Life. Can’t blame them, just love’em. More money for you dear reader ;).

Too much to holler about, it’s time to hit the gym and accept the storytelling self within me again.

Oh wait, I’m a NATURAL LISTENER. Why not give people my time? I do that with friendships don’t I? This business just got a whole lot easier.

Time to make 2018 my B*tc#!

Uh… Eric? Is that you? Sorry, I was hacked. XD

My Life will never be the same.

Keep Lovin’ To Keep Livin’,

Eric Richey
